ONE

Willow Flowers BD turns one today! This time last year my first bride asked me to do her wedding flowers. It was a mixture of excitement and freaking out. Just as I had psyched myself up I get asked to do another wedding, on the same day! I have come so far since then and am so glad that it happened that way. I was able to see how capable I really was for this! A year later I have now done 6 weddings with another 6 booked in! So BLESSED! Extremely grateful to all my family & friends who have supported me and continue to encourage me into my future endeavours and crazy ideas! THANKYOU X

MARKET

Last Saturday, 10th August 2013, I had a stall at our local markets!
It was such a beautiful day to sell fresh flowers and to just let people know who I am and what I do.
I went to the flower markets on Friday morning and brought one of my friends to show him one of my favourite places! We were spoilt for choice and also got to see Saskia Havekes from Grandiflora! An incredibly talented and successful florist in Sydney and Internationally!
We sourced a variety of beautiful blooms including Poppies, Anemones, Ranunculus, Gypsy, Snap Dragons, Natives and lots more!

I was extremely happy with the response from all customers and was told I had the nicest stall in all the markets!

Hoping to venture out to some other markets in the future so stay posted for where I will be next!!

Sister Love ~ Bohemian Floral Crown Photo Shoot

Photoshoot by Philippa Enid Photography.
Saturday 3rd August
This was my gift for my twin sisters Alison & Talitha's 24th Birthday. Talitha is getting married on the 7th of December this year meaning this was their last birthday both living at home together.

We started off the morning bright and early and headed out to the Flower Markets so the girls could choose their flowers for their floral crowns.
We were spoilt for choice with Peonies, Anemones, Sea Holly and some FREE roses from a young admiring (South American) flower grower. SCORE!

I collected together some props including a crocheted rug and tin bucket from my Ma, Wooden crates from my bedroom, Vintage suitcase from Rose of Sharon Country Weddings and a cute Learn how to speak 'French' book my Dad had as a boy, 'Bloem' a book on flowers my Mum brought back from Holland last year and a 'Diana F Camera' photo book.

After a last minute shopping trip for outfits and a busy morning making head pieces
we headed up to Faulconbridge in the Blue Mountains where we met Philippa who jumped in the car with us and took us down a dirt track (where we could have potentially gotten stuck in... haha)  to find our spot, Eurama Ruins. Beautiful surroundings with an old sandstone house that has been there since the 1880's.
The twins were a bit nervous about having to be un naturally natural but with the assistance of Philippa's crazy good talent they turned out better than i could imagine!

For a photo shoot like this of your own contact Philippa Enid or Willow Flowers By Design for a super good deal!

Enjoy X
